The HPE Networking Instant On Switch Series 1930 is a smart-managed Layer 2+ Ethernet Switch built for SMB environments that need reliable Network performance, strong Security and simple day-to-day control. Designed for Business use, it supports bandwidth-heavy traffic such as voice, video conferencing, cloud apps and connected devices while keeping deployment and management straightforward through the Instant On cloud portal, mobile app or local web GUI.
This Premium Switch includes 24 x 1GbE RJ-45 autosensing Class 4 PoE ports, 4 x 1/10GbE SFP+ Fibre uplink ports and a 370W PoE power budget to support access points, IP cameras, VoIP phones and other Professional Ethernet devices from a single platform. The 1U fixed-configuration design also includes a UK power cord, making it suitable for rack deployment in modern offices, retail sites and branch locations.
Management is streamlined with cloud-based visibility, firmware scheduling, topology view, port profiles and remote troubleshooting tools such as ping and traceroute. QoS helps prioritise voice and video traffic across the Network, while link aggregation, jumbo frame support and Fibre uplinks help reduce bottlenecks between switches, servers and core infrastructure in demanding Business environments.
For stable Network operation, this HPE model delivers 128 Gbps switching capacity, 95.23 Mpps throughput, up to 16,000 MAC address entries and Layer 3 IPv4 static routing with 32 static entries. Built-in Security features such as ACLs, IEEE 802.1X, VLAN support, DHCP snooping, ARP protection, TPM-based cloud security and RADIUS help segment traffic and control access across the Business Network without added licensing. With no hidden subscription fees and cloud-managed flexibility, Instant On provides a Professional Ethernet and Fibre switching solution for growing SMB sites that need dependable PoE performance.
