The Dell Networking N2048P Switch is a 1U rack mountable Network Switch designed for Business environments that need reliable wired connectivity, PoE support and manageable Professional performance. With high port density, uplink flexibility and Dell OS6 installed, it is suitable for access-layer deployments across offices, classrooms, retail sites and structured network cabinets.

Front-line connectivity is handled by 48 x 1GbE RJ45 PoE ports, allowing compatible network devices such as access points, phones and cameras to receive data and power from the same switch. The Dell Network Switch also includes 2 x 10GbE SFP+ uplink ports, giving Business networks faster fibre or aggregation links for backbone connections.

Performance is supported by 176Gb/s switching capacity and a 220Gb/s switch fabric capacity, helping traffic move efficiently across connected users, devices and uplinks. The integrated power supply simplifies installation, while normal airflow, IO to PSU, supports standard rack layouts in Professional comms rooms.

Management is straightforward through web or console management, with Dell OS6 installed and Dell OS6 licenses installed for familiar configuration and control. This helps IT teams monitor ports, configure VLANs, apply policies and maintain Security across a managed Business switching environment.

The Dell Networking N2048P Switch supports scalable network design with 32,000 MAC addresses, 128 LAG groups and 8 member ports per LAG. Routing capability includes 256 IPv4 static routes, 128 IPv6 static routes and 256 IPv4 dynamic routes, supporting flexible Professional network segmentation.

Traffic control and segmentation are strengthened with 8 queues per port, 256 VLAN routing interfaces and 4094 VLANs supported. This combination gives the Dell Network Switch the capacity and control needed for Business growth, Security planning and dependable Professional network access.
