How many spare switch ports should I allow?
There is no universal figure. Allow for known projects, likely device growth and operational convenience; buying a switch that is full immediately leaves no practical headroom.
What does a PoE budget mean?
It is the total power a switch can deliver across powered ports. Each access point, phone or camera has a requirement, and the combined demand must remain within budget.
Do more access points always improve Wi-Fi?
